SSX slides from W.M. Berg are high quality and designed to last. Key features of our slides are that they have low sliding friction. The SSX slides tolerate shock loads and severe contamination, will not rust or corrode and have no maintenance required. SSX slides have no roller elements and are self-lubricating, thus do not require grease or oil. They have no metal to metal contact, rather they have a ceramic-coated rail. SSX slides are clear anodized with FrelonJ, and are manufactured so that weld, splatter, paints or other materials wail not adhere to the rail. SSX slides are also available by request in special carriage or rail lengths.
