Shoulder Screws

A shoulder screw is different from a machine screw because the shoulder screw’s shank is ground to a precise diameter, known as the shoulder, and the threaded portion is smaller in diameter than the shoulder. The threaded length is fixed, and is generally short. Common applications for shoulder screws are rotating mechanism joints and linkage pivots, among others. W.M. Berg carries slotted head shoulder screws with numerous tap sizes.

W.M. Berg’s shoulder screws are manufactured from 416 stainless steel hardened RC 26-36 or from 303 stainless steel. W.M.
